Nikkei Inc. and the Financial Services Agency have decided to postpone the international conference Blockchain Global Governance Conference (BG2C), FIN/SUM Blockchain & Business (FIN/SUM BB), originally scheduled for March 9 and 10 in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, to April 21-23. The decision was made in accordance the government’s request on February 26 to call off, put off or scale down sports and cultural events for two weeks as part of measures to cope with the new coronavirus epidemic. The venue remains unchanged at Mitsui Muromachi Hall & Conference in Nihonbashi.
On the original event dates of March 9 and 10, some of the sessions on governance of blockchain technology will be broadcast online. Details will be announced on this site.
As the organizer, we will pay close attention to the trend of the spread of the new coronavirus and continue to make every effort to prevent the spread of the virus.
