Mr. Taro Aso is the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and Minister of State for Financial Services in Japan. He previously served as Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications. In 1979, he was elected as a member of the House of Representatives, and has been elected 13 times since. He participated in the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games as an athlete of Japan (clay target shooting). He graduated from the Faculty of Politics and Economics at Gakushuin University. He was born in 1940. His birth place is in the Fukuoka Prefecture of Japan.

Mr. Endo has held various executive posts, including the Director-General of the Supervisory Bureau and Inspection Bureau, etc. When he was the Director-General of the Supervisory Bureau, he leads supervision of banks, broker-dealers, insurance companies and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Japan. As the Director-General of Inspection Bureau, he integrated the process of on-site inspection and off-site monitoring in effective manner.
Prior to his posting to the FSA, Mr. Endo worked for the Asian Pacific Department and the Finance Department of the International Monetary Fund. Mr. Endo received a M.Sc. in Economics from London School of Economics (LSE) in 1986.

Mr. Oshima is an experienced international banker and has spent 18 years working in London, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Since joining the bank in 1984, he has been responsible for many aspects of SMBC Group’s business, including large corporates in both international and domestic markets, mid-cap corporates, debt and equity capital markets and transaction banking. As GM of Investor Relations, Mr. Oshima led capital raising efforts during Japan’s financial crisis, and managed the Americas business as GM of Planning Department, Americas Division before and after the Lehman Brothers crisis. Over the ensuing years, Mr. Oshima was assigned as Senior Managing Director responsible for corporate planning as well as Head of EMEA and CEO of SMBC Europe. Mr. Oshima also has significant experience in strategic planning, IR, regulatory compliance, governance and IT.
Pindar Wong is an internet pioneer who served on the Global Commission on Internet Governance. He was the first Vice-Chairman of ICANN, Chairman of the Asia Pacific Internet Association, alternate Chairman of Asia Pacific Network Information Center, Chairman of APRICOT, and elected Trustee of the Internet Society. He co-founder HK's 1st licence ISP in 1993 and in 2015, he helped organize Asia's first Blockchainworkshops.org, Phase 1, 2 and 3 of ScalingBitcoin.org and sponsored the Hong Kong Bitcoin Roundtable. Currently he serves on CoinDesk's Advisory Board and on the Committee for Innovation, Technology and Re-industrialisation of the HK Government.

Dr. Shin'ichiro Matsuo is a scientist in cryptography and information security. At Georgetown University, he is a director of CyberSMART research center and a lead of blockchain technology and ecosystem design. He is an acting co-chair of Blockchain Governance Initiative Network (BGIN).
He also leads international research collaborations on Blockchain as a co-founder of the BSafe.network, a global and neutral research test network for Blockchain technology. He is a part of many program committees on Blockchain technology and information security at IEEE S&B, ACM, W3C, CBT, SSR and others, and was a program co-chair of Scaling Bitcoin 2018. He serves as the leader of a project (ISO TR 23576) on Blockchain security at ISO TC307. He is member of the Blockchain Expert Policy Advisory Board (BEPAB) at OECD.

In order to promote the use of anonymous authentication, she edited two standardization document at ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27. She serves as an Expert in ISO TC 307. She served as Program co-Chair/ Chair for ASIACRYPT 2012, 2013, CT-RSA conference 2016, Financial Cryptography 2018, PKC 2019, and ESORICS 2019. She is a vice chair of MyDatajapan, advocating the vision of individuals controlling their own data and being empowered by them. She is a member of the Science Council of Japan.

Aaron Wright is an Associate Clinical Professor of Law at Cardozo Law School, where he directs the Cardozo Blockchain Project and other technology programs. Professor Wright's work focuses on smart contracts and the regulation of blockchain-based systems. His first book, Blockchain and the Law: The Rule of Code (Harvard University Press, with Primavera De Filippi) was published in 2019.
Professor Wright is also the co-founder of OpenLaw (https://www.openlaw.io), a blockchain-based legal protocol, and serves as chair of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, Legal Advisory Working Group. Prior to joining Cardozo’s faculty, he co-founded and sold a company to Wikia, Inc., the for-profit sister project to Wikipedia.

He served as the secretary general of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision from 2003 to 2006. Ryozo published in Japanese Aristide Maillol, a biography of the French sculptor, and Introduction to I-Ching: What if Confucius reads Sophocles, a book applying the Chinese Book of Fortunes to Greek tragedies.
